.Cute Little Rodents.

Squirrels!
I love these little rodents. I think my love for their cute little pounces and tails started a few years ago when they were everywhere at Mason! Once I saw a squirrel sitting on top of the trash can eating a Chic-Fil-A with both his little paws. Did your heart just melt a little?!

Currently I live on the ground floor of our apartment building, giving me a great look at my rodent friends! One day I grabbed my camera as quick as I could to get a picture of the cute guy eating.

Isn't this little guy super cute!

P.S. They don't have squirrels in Australia..interesting, no!

.Five (Random) Things Friday.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Guess what!! I have the next 4 days off!!! AHHHHH!!!!

1. Dave and I started a tradition last year for Easter and I'm looking forward to continuing it again this year! For our Easter Dinner we got for Chinese Food instead of making the typical Easter Ham and fixings!

2. Have you heard of these, the Google Glasses? I'm not sure how I feel about them..do we need to have the internet in our face all the time? I could just be old fashioned, what do you think?

3. Dave is finally home!! He actually arrived home at almost the exact same time I got home from my run...it was perfect timing! This kid and I are totally made for each other...no lie!

4. Today is my first pay day from my job, where I wore this outfit for the interview! It feels good to get a paycheck..even if it will be really really really small!

5. A co-worker asked me if I was the guy in 127 hours ( have you seen the movie? He gets stuck between rocks, breaks his arm, and then saws off his arm with a swiss army knife in order to survive) would I do what the guy did.  My answer...NO, I would take a nap and hope someone came for me.  This is basically my answer for if anything bad happens...I will take a nap and hopefully sleep it off!  What would you do?

Hope ya have an EPIC Friday!
*I said it...EPIC*

.ave to my shoave.

Man...I am missing this guy, right here!!

Dave has been gone visiting his grandma in New Jersey the past week and it's been rough without him. He even drove there, which makes me more nervous on driving days...I'm kind of freak about driving. Dave and I haven't been apart for the last 8 months, the last time was when he drove from Vermont to Minnesota before we went to Australia.

Since grandma goes to bed at old people time, Dave and I spend our nights texting away! It reminds me of when we first started dating. We would just text back and forth for HOURS...it was our main source of communication in the day! I swear my roommates got sick of hearing my ring tone, " Dance Dance" by Fall Out Boy. I think I ruined that song for everyone in the townhouse...oh love sometimes it affects everyone!

So now I am counting down the days and hours until his cute little booty is back in MInneapolis!
Without -ave their is no SHOAVE!

.WIW: Playing with Patterns.

I love mixing patterns, cause it can go either way. It could look good or you could look like you got dressed in the dark if you don't have it just right. This is a mild playing with patterns but I hope to one day go full force and mix up patterns even more!

.Tuesday Tunes: GOTYE cover.

Happy Tuesday Tunes!!

Remember all the way back in September when I shared with you this post about Gotye?  Well now he has BLOWN up in the states, the radio is in love with him here and so are all the beautiful people. And you know what happens when people blow up? Everyone and their grandma covers that song and posts it on youtube. I can't say that I hate this because I don't...in fact it's fun to watch them.  SOOOOOOOO today I have a few of my favorite covers of "Somebody That I Used To Know"!

Walk off the Earth

Army of 3: Ingrid Michaelson

Michael Schulte & Max Giesinger

And who doesn't love cute, adorable kids singing good songs:

.march books.

In March I totally got on the Hunger Games Train wagon..really, who didn't? Because of getting on the wagon, I got out of my reading rut! Here are the books I read in March..

Hunger Games & Catching Fire: Suzanne Collins: I don't believe that you can read the first book without wanted to tear into the second book! I'm sure you have heard all about the Hunger Games, so I won't go into that one. AND I won't go into Catching Fire because I just think you really really need to read it.

One Day: David Nicholls: I read this book because I wanted to see the movie.  It follows two friends who have an attraction to each other but they don't give into it and remain friends (mostly). Each chapter takes place on the same day of each year, you get to learn where each of the characters are in life and how it plays into each other. Overall...the book was okay, I didn't hate it or love it. I did hate that something happened in the book that I did not like.  I haven't seen the movie yet, but don't worry I will soon!
