Five Things Friday

1) My favorite line from The Outsiders is, " They call me Cherry cause of my red hair." I have no idea why this is my favorite line, maybe it's because I really wanted red hair when I first watched the movie.

2) I sometimes enter shops or boutiques based solely on the music that they are playing. If a tune catches my ear I am more likely to enter than if I like a few items in the window display.

3) When I was younger, I hard a hard time finding my birth mark (it's really tiny). My mom told me I was alien because I didn't have one....I believed her for FAR to LONG!

4) I got my ears pierced in 4th grade. I really only did this because I had short hair and was sick of people thinking I was a boy, I thought having your ears pierced truly showed I was a girl.

5) I sleep when I am mad, sad, and of course tired. Sleep is my getaway/ my way of not dealing with things I really need to deal with.

Five Things Friday

1) The first CD I ever owned was Deana Carter, Did I Shave My Legs For This?.

2) 13 Going on 30 is my feel good movie. I watch it when I'm sad, when I'm sick...and just because it's on t.v Who doesn't love Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo?

3) I believe that concerts can be spiritual experiences. There have been many times when I have been in the crowd at a concert, closed my eyes, and felt everyone disappear and the music speaks to me in  a deeper way than ever before. It's an amazing feeling!

4) I don't feel comfortable around large groups of people..I am not a Woo! HOWEVER...I have no problem speaking in front of a large group of people.

5) I grew up on a farm until the 5th grade. Even though we left the farm my heart never did.

.Five Things Friday.

Whoops! It's Saturday here but it's technically still Friday in the States, so I think that counts so that I'm not late with 5 Things Friday!

1) I really, really want a short sleeve tattoo...like really bad. BUT I'm afraid of how much it will hurt and can't make up my mind on the design. I have a little tattoo and when I was getting it I thought the pain was horrible!

2) All of my closest friends were met either in high school or undergrad. I've tried to see if there are others like my friends out there, but I still haven't found any! It just means you can NEVER replace great friends, they are your soul mates. 

3) I used to want to be a writer. I would write long stories all the time, they were about high schoolers falling in love but being of different races and their parents not approving, kids getting terminally ill diseases and falling in love. BASICALLY I think I was reading to much Lurlene McDaniel books and stealing her influences!

4) I graduated high school a semester early because I was SOOOO over school.

5) I graduated undergrad a year late because I loved school and the experience so much I didn't want to leave.
